The Hancock County Health Department also provides the following miscellaneous services for county residents:

Medical Equipment Loan Program: The Health Department temporarily loans walkers, wheelchairs, canes, commodes, bath chairs and much more to county residents.  This program is FREE of charge. Most equipment has been obtained through donations.  Monday - Friday 8-4pm

Emergency Food Pantry A 2-3 day food supply is given to low-income households in an emergency. The food pantry is partially funded by a federal grant, the Boy Scouts, and donations by local supermarkets. Monday - Friday 8-4pm
