We are the Registrar for the County and file all death and birth certificates. We have Death Certificates back to 1/1/1987 and Birth Certificates back to 1/1/1985. Certified copies are available upon request at $10 for the first copy and $4 for each additional.
If a certificate is needed that is prior to 1987 (Death) or 1985 (Birth), then you need to call the County Clerk's Office at 217-357-3911.
